The Easter Weekend is approaching, meaning the Baggies will be in action twice during Easter, with the first one a trip to London on Good Friday as we take on Millwall at The Lions Den.

After a long 13 days with a International Break in between, I am glad we are back in action for a Easter weekend full of football with the Championship coming to the business end of the season where this is an important period for both teams.
Millwall are 16th in the Championship and are 4 points ahead of the relegation zone and are still in the fight to stay in the league where The Baggies are still in the hunt for the play-offs and have been 5th since October and are 8 points ahead of 7th with 8 games left to play.
Last time out the Baggies beat Bristol City 2-0 at The Hawthorns with goals from Tom Fellows and Jed Wallace. Also Millwall lost to newly Championship Leaders Leeds United 2-0 at Elland Road. This game coming to The Den will be difficult as we have lost 3 in 4 games at The Den in the last 5 years.
Baggies Last 4 games at The Den:
Millwall 2-0 West Brom | 06th April 2019
Millwall 0-2 West Brom | 09th February 2020
Millwall 2-0 West Brom | 29th January 2022
Millwall 2-1 West Brom | 26th October 2022
With Millwall winning the last 2 games at The Den against us, Can we finally get an away win on a Friday for the first time since December 2018?
Player To Watch – Millwall

As the excitement builds at The Lions Den on Friday, my player to watch for Millwall will be Zian Flemming with a tally of 7 goals and 4 assists under his belt, Flemming has emerged as a key figure for Millwall this season.
What makes Flemming particularly intriguing ahead of this encounter is his ability to rise to the occasion against formidable opponents. His knack for delivering when it matters most was evident in his stunning goal against promotion contenders Southampton, a testament to his composure and skill under pressure. This ability to perform against top-tier teams not only highlights Flemming’s individual talent but also underscores his potential to unsettle even the most established defenses.
What makes this player special ahead of this encounter his ability to rise to the occasion against formidable opponents while scoring against promotion contenders Southampton, and I think he has the ability to perform well against us on Friday and has potential to unsettle our defenders especially with us being away from home on a Friday. We are unbeaten in our last 5 away games and I think we could keep him quiet but I say he has potential to scare us and this is why Zian Flemming will be my player to watch on Friday afternoon.
Player To Watch – West Brom

As the countdown to the highly anticipated clash between West Brom and his former club, Millwall, reaches its climax, all eyes are on Jed Wallace, the dynamic midfielder who’s poised to make a significant impact on the match. Wallace, who recently found the back of the net against Bristol City, enters this fixture with a potent blend of talent, experience, and a point to prove against his former teammates.
Eyes will be on Jed Wallace on Friday as he faces his former teammates in Millwall. He also found the back of the net in the last game against Bristol City and will be my key player for The Baggies at The Den.
I think Jed Wallace will cause a lot of problems on Friday and should be starting with the likes of Mikey Johnston, Alex Mowatt and Tom Fellows, with the form these players are on I think if Jed Wallace will play at his best the Baggies will come out on top and hopefully Jed Wallace can get one over his former side Millwall.
The Baggies serenade him with chants of “Jed Wallace” to the tune of ABBA’s iconic hit “Voulez-Vous,”. This affection only serves to fuel Wallace’s determination to perform at his best, especially against Millwall the team he played for 6 years before joining us on a free transfer in June 2022.
I say Jed Wallace will want to play at his best on Friday and would be the stadium he wants to play at with The Baggies and should be made captain in this encounter.
My Line-Up V Millwall

My Line-up against Millwall I bring back Conor Townsend in left-back and put Kyle Bartley in center back and replace him with Erik Pieters. I would rest Tom Fellows after playing for England Under 20’s a few days prior to this game and bring in Jed Wallace a former Millwall player to start and captain this West Brom team.
Predictions
Prediction time I say it be a tough game as we are coming to The Den with 3 defeats in 4 games in the last 5 years but those last two games was Valerien Ismael’s last game before he got sacked and the recent one was the game after Steve Bruce got sacked and Carlos Corberan was appointed a few days after the Millwall game.
This will be different to our last record at The Den and it is on a Friday and our last win away from The Hawthorns on that day of the week was in December 2018. Even last year on a Good Friday we lost to Rotherham United 3-1 but hope it won’t be another repeat this year.
I say we score first with Brandon Thomas Asante getting one in the first 20 minutes and then in the second half late on I think Jed Wallace will double the lead and win it for the Baggies with a 2-0 victory.
I say a 2-0 Baggies victory on Good Friday will be nice and will end our rotten away form on a Friday and with us not on Sky Sports there will be no pressure for our players and fans on Friday. Lets hope we go to London and get the win and get our foot in the promotion play-offs.
Prediction: Millwall 0-2 West Brom
Goalscorers: Brandon Thomas-Asante, Jed Wallace
