The Baggies take on Cardiff City at The Hawthorns on Saturday after gaining a 0-0 draw at Blackburn in the week. Can West Brom finally secure a win and break their five game winless run over in-form Cardiff City?

Cardiff City we welcome to The Hawthorns who have picked up 10 points in the last 4 games and have struggled at the start of the season where they was bottom of the table at one point. Now with Cardiff on a better run than us could they come away with the victory on Saturday?

Last time out Cardiff beat Portsmouth 2-0 at home with ex-Baggies striker Callum Robinson getting on the scoresheet. West Brom have not won in 5 games but had another draw with a 0-0 draw to Blackburn on Wednesday. This is a unpredictable game at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

Player To Watch – Cardiff City

There is no answer to this one, It’s Callum Robinson who I’m tipping as my Player To Watch on Saturday. Another ex-Baggies forward who I thought we should not of sold him to Cardiff City as he was one of our best players in our Premier League season who smashed Chelsea and Southampton apart and I do rate him better than Karlan Grant over that season.

Robinson has scored 3 goals over the last 2 games and he does enjoy scoring against his ex-clubs and especially Chelsea, but he could be another player who once was a Baggie but then scores against the Baggies when moving clubs. I do think he could cause problems and pick up on where he has left off in the last two games and predict he could get a goal against us in this upcoming fixture.

Can the likes of Alex Palmer, Torbjørn Heggem and Darnell Furlong stop Callum Robinson on Saturday?

Player To Watch – West Brom

Player to watch on Saturday is Karlan Grant, why? another ex-Cardiff player where Callum Robinson and Karlan Grant would face off for 90 minutes on Saturday and I do think Karlan Grant has got his mind set on this fixture where he is facing Cardiff since coming back to us from his loan spell there last season.

Grant has been in form of late after scoring a wonderful goal against Oxford and could of had another one against Blackburn on Wednesday. He does bring a late of energy and pace into the wings and I do think we see that on Saturday and could scare his former Cardiff team-mates off at The Hawthorns.

Can Karlan Grant haunt his former side on Saturday at The Hawthorns?

My Line Up V Cardiff City

My Line Up starts with McNair at the back with Semi Ajayi and I play Darnell Furlong and Torjborn Heggem as full backs. Mowatt and Molumby come into midfield with Grant, Diangana and Fellows just behind Josh Maja in attack.

Prediction V Cardiff City

Prediction against Cardiff City, following predicting a draw on Wednesday evening I am expecting this to be another tough prediction, I have so far predicted us to be unbeaten all season so far.

In this fixture I think we would start off strong and in the first 10 minutes the Baggies would score first with Jayson Molumby getting one, Cardiff would try and push for a equalizer but would fail with their chances.

Just before half-time I predict Grady Diangana would make it 2-0 to West Brom to put Cardiff back to their struggles and us back into form. It be 2-0 at Half-Time and in the second half I think Cardiff would peg one back this time with Callum Robinson scoring to get one over his former side.

Around the 65th minute mark, Karlan Grant would make it 3-1 to the Baggies to get his third goal of the season and one against his former side too. Near the end there be a mistake by the Cardiff keeper that would allow Josh Maja to secure us a great day at The Hawthorns and win us the game 4-1 over Cardiff City.

Prediction: West Brom 4-1 Cardiff City

Goalscorers for West Brom: Jayson Molumby, Grady Diangana, Karlan Grant, Josh Maja

Goalscorers for Cardiff City: Callum Robinson

A 4-1 victory where this could be the biggest victory of the season so far especially being on a 5 game winless run, this could be the day we could return to winning ways and could go on an amazing run from here. Lets see what happens and enjoy the Saturday afternoon at The Hawthorns.
