Points were shared on Wednesday night as we secured another draw and this time it was goalless between West Brom and Blackburn.

The Baggies had a number of opportunities but couldn’t find the breakthrough at Ewood Park where we remain in the play off places in 4th place.

The Baggies and Rovers had early chances saved as Blackburn keeper Aynsley Pears saved Tom Fellows shot and Alex Palmer halted Hayden Carter in the opening 20 minutes.

Blackburn, who had won every Championship home game since the season started, created their best chance midway through the first period when Joe Rankin-Costello smashed off target.

The Baggies was close twice in quick succession as captain Darnell Furlong volleyed just wide before Torbjorn Heggem then side-footed inches past the post two minutes later.

In the Second Half, Blackburn nearly had their chance with Todd Cantwell’s free kick that was blocked by the wall.

Karlan Grant nearly had the chance near the end that was saved well by the Blackburn’s keeper and now go 5 games without a win in the league but still sit in the play-off places in 4th place with a game against Cardiff at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
