Shilen Patel, who is a Florida based entrepreneur and his father Dr Kiran C. Patel has taken an 87.8% share in West Bromwich Albion Group.
In his statement today, Shilen Patel added “Today marks the beginning of an exciting project for the club to regain its standing as a consistent Premier League presense.”
“Success does not occur overnight, but it is my ambition to build on the club’s current and historical strengths and surround West Bromwich Albion with high quality stakeholders at home and globally.”
This is definitely great news for the Baggies community, and have been awaiting some announcements like this for a long time now. Let’s hope this pays off and hopefully give the fans something to dream for.
