West Brom are heading to London for the first time this season as we take on a Queens Park Rangers side for a mid week Championship clash.

Last time out The Baggies won 2-1 against Coventry City on Friday night where QPR won 2-1 away at league leaders Leicester City on Saturday.
This won’t be a easy task for the Baggies as QPR could get a result against us and they are on a good run of late after winning their last 3 games and lost 1 game in 8 can the Baggies be the 4th team they beat.
We are still trying to battle for the play offs come May and are 4 points ahead of 7th place Norwich City. If we do not get a result in London we still be in the top 6 come the Huddersfield Town game on Sunday.
However I am backing the Baggies to come out on top on Wednesday considering we can only win away in mid week.
Player to Watch – QPR

My player to watch for QPR against the Baggies would be Chris Willock if you remember he signed for us on loan from Benfica in 2019 and never played a game for us, he signed for Huddersfield later that season and scored against us that almost prevented us getting promoted that year.
It is always a Baggies curse whoever used to play for us always scores against us like Charlie Austin did 2 seasons ago when his QPR side beat us 1-0. There is a list of names I can think of but will Chris Willock add another goal to keep the Baggies curse going?
Player to Watch – West Brom

The player to watch for the Baggies against QPR I would go for Mikey Johnston again but I used him against Hull City. This time I am going for Alex Palmer, he has been in fine form for us since he replaced David Button last season and I don’t know why Steve Bruce didn’t make him first choice goalkeeper while he was in charge.
Alex Palmer is the best goalkeeper for clean sheets this season with 15 and has been a real difference in goal. He has made great vital saves for us which is the reason why we are in the play off places.
I hope he keeps his run going in this encounter and try to stop the likes of the QPR attack in Chris Willock, Iillas Chair and Lyndon Dykes.
My Line Up V QPR

My Line Up against QPR means there is not much I would change, I give Jed Wallace a rest and replace him with John Swift. I have Grady Diangana up front.
My Prediction
I did go for a Baggies win against Coventry and predicted 1-0. I say everytime I’ve done a prediction it is going to be tough which I do expect another tough game with QPR’s current run and they are in a relegation battle with us in a play off race.
In this game I am going for the Baggies to come out on top and going for a 3-1 win. Mikey Johnston will score the first goal for us in the first 10 minutes and I will go for a Tom Fellows goal before half time.
I say QPR will get a penalty against us in the second half with Ilias Chair to add one on the scoresheet and we will add the third goal late on with Jed Wallace securing us the three points in London.
Let’s hope this happens on Wednesday night but we will see how it goes at Loftus Road. Come on you Baggies.
Prediction: QPR 1-3 West Brom
Goalscorers: Johnston, Fellows and Wallace
