Sunday afternoon football awaits as the Baggies travel to Hull City in the EFL Championship as they look to end their 8 game winless run.

In the last game was only a few days ago and it’s less than 72 hours before we face Hull City where they have had more rest than us over mid-week, and I feel that the game should of been played on a Wednesday night rather than Thursday as I think there could be key players who could not be fit for this away fixture.
Another 0-0 draw over Burnley on Thursday was the latest result making this our 6th draw in a row and are looking to keep our place in the play-offs if we can finally end our winless streak. Hull City are without a win in six games who lost 1-0 to Oxford United in the week, they are in the bottom half in the Championship who last season fell short of a play off place.
Player To Watch – Hull City

Mohamed Belloumi would be my player to watch out for against us on Sunday, he had a fine early start to the season since joining the Tigers over the summer He has scored 2 goals so far this season and has been the man of the match for them the most so far this season.
I would think he could be a threat for Hull on Sunday and most attacking players always score against us when away from home. I predict he be their key man and could cause our defenders problems at Hull, lets see how we can cope against Belloumi over the weekend.
Player To Watch – West Brom
Mason Holgate has had a great couple of games since being started, he has kept us out from being defended in our 6 draws by blocking out key shots from the opposition, Holgate has been our best player in the last few games alongside Heggem and Palmer. If our defence especially Mason Holgate can stop Hull from scoring on Sunday the Baggies can come away with a result and hopefully break our 8 game winless run.
Lets see how Mason Holgate can do against Hull on Sunday and hopefully keep his form from the last few games.
My Line Up V Hull City

Line up against Hull, I would make a few changes with Racic, Diangana and Johnston coming into the team where I would rest Molumby, Fellows and John Swift. I would play two up front with Karlan Grant who could play up there with a striking partnership with Josh Maja with Mikey Johnston and Grady Diangana just behind them.
Predictions V Hull City
I predicted a 2-1 win last time out against Burnley but that was another 0-0 draw at home for the third successive time.
In this encounter I think Hull would come at us but they haven’t got any real threat in their team since losing Jacob Greaves and Fábio Carvalho over last season and shouldn’t really of sacked Liam Rosenior after finishing 7th last season and was 5 points behind us meaning they was also a win away from finishing 6th.
I feel in the first half a hour of the game it still be 0-0 with Hull failing to produce goals and would look to tire us out as they had 48 hours more rest than us. Nearly half time the Baggies would have a shot with Josh Maja just close to breaking the deadlock meaning the scores would be goalless at the break.
Second half, it be the same again with us trying to break the deadlock but somehow cannot finish. Around the 70th minute mark it still be goalless but I feel there be a penalty in this game with Devante Cole being fouled in the box and the referee would point to the spot.
Josh Maja would take the penalty but Ivor Pandur would save it before Maja puts in the rebound to finally score a goal to make it 1-0 to West Brom. In the final moments of the game Hull would try and score but there be a counter attacking play with Tom Fellows doing a crossover that would fall to Alex Mowatt to secure our first win in 8 games and the final score being 2-0 to the Baggies.
Prediction: Hull City 0-2 West Brom
Goalscorers for West Brom: Josh Maja, Alex Mowatt
It be another game where it be frustrating but till the end of the game I think that’s when we start to be dominate. I predict we would end the run by a penalty and Josh Maja’s goal would make the difference to put our winless run behind us with Alex Mowatt scoring at the end. I do think we have enough quality to beat Hull we did ok to get a draw against Burnley but we could of lost that game if the Burnley goal was not ruled out.
Lets hope we could take a 2-0 win over the weekend and start to pick up some points that could help us finish in the top six come end of the season.
