The Baggies are in Sky Bet Championship action after an international break meaning we would be playing almost every weekend till March. The first game after 13 days is us welcoming Norwich City to The Hawthorns.

Norwich City come into this game on a poor run, they have gone 6 games without a win but have lost 3 successive games coming into the international break.

The Baggies however had a winless run of 8 games before securing their first win at Hull City a couple of weeks ago but can that result help us kick on and start a winning streak by getting a result against out-of-form Norwich City on Saturday?

Player To Watch- Norwich City

The player I’m going for Norwich City would be Borja Sainz the leading Championship top goalscorer just ahead of Josh Maja, with 11 goals to his name this season I think he would be their threat coming to The Hawthorns this weekend.

My prediction is that we have kept a few clean sheets at home this season but it could change as I reckon he could add more to the tally and with us short in defence and Norwich are strong in attack with 23 goals in the league this season they would score and have goals in them.

I do believe if the opposition does score on Saturday I would think Borja Sainz would be the one our defenders should watch out for at The Hawthorns.

Player To Watch- West Brom

I’m going for Torbjørn Heggem to be the player to watch in this encounter on Saturday his made a great impact since joining us in the summer and already has picked up caps for Norway during the international break.

He does not put a foot wrong when in defence and carries the ball well confidently and does help with our attacking play by pinging long balls that is accurate.

I would think he could help stop the Norwich’s attack on Saturday and especially against Borja Sainz who is Norwich’s top goalscorer.

My Line Up V Norwich City

My line-up is the same back 4 with Styles, Heggem, Holgate and Furlong, I play Mowatt and Molumby in midfield and in attack I start with Mikey Johnston and Tom Fellows on the wing with Karlan Grant and Josh Maja playing in a striker role. I would change the formation to 4-2-2-2 in order to help us score more goals.

Prediction V Norwich City

Prediction for the Norwich City game, another hard one to call I did but us to win in the last game to Hull City and we did.

Lets see how I can predict this one, first 10 minutes I would say it be all Norwich City trying to find the opener but Palmer would make a few good saves and Heggem making a few blockages to stop their threat.

I say around the half a hour mark the deadlock would be broken it be a throw in from Darnell Furlong who would sprung it into the box, Heggem would make the header but would hit the crossbar and Tom Fellows would get to the end of it with his strike to put the Baggies ahead.

There won’t be much with the two sides during the late period of the first half and would say we would lead at half time 1-0.

Second half, Norwich would get a few set pieces and would get a free kick in the 65th minute mark and again Alex Palmer would make a great save to deny Norwich getting on the scoresheet.

I do see another goal coming but I think there would be a goalkeeping error for George Long who would try and launch it but would hit Josh Maja who would lob the keeper to double our lead at 2-0.

Near the end, Norwich would get one back with Borja Sainz getting his 12th goal of the season around the 85th minute mark to put pressure on the Baggies towards the end of the game. We would see an additional 6 minutes added time but Norwich would pressure us and would try and get another one back we would see them score again but I predict it would be ruled out for offside. I would be backing us to win here 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Prediction: West Brom 2-1 Norwich City

Goalscorers for West Brom: Tom Fellows Josh Maja

Goalscorers for Norwich City: Borja Sainz

A win just about and another 3 points I’m going for, a first goal for Tom Fellows and Josh Maja to carry on his goalscoring run to keep his transfer interest from other clubs going as his been linked to Celta Vigo in the week for £16M, I hope we do not sell him but we did get the striker on a free last season from Bordeaux.

Lets see what happens over the weekend and hope it does not snow with the weather been really bad over the week and last thing I don’t want is for it to be called off and has to be played in midweek.

Come on you boys!
