A more entertaining game at The Hawthorns as we’ve seen 4 goals in the first half, but another draw to one of the highest top scorers in the Championship.

It took 11 minutes to get the first Hawthorns goal in 4 games when a corner saw Karlan Grant cross to Mason Holgate, making it his first goal since re-joining us on loan in the summer.

However the lead didn’t last as Norwich found the equaliser, when Jack Stacey was set free down the right as he found Emiliano Marcondes to make it 1-1.

Norwich again nearly went ahead as Borja Sainz took advantage to fire a volley goalwards as Alex Palmer was there to keep his effort out.

Karlan Grant was nearly wide and Mikey Johnston saw a shot held before Norwich had another go with Amankwah Forson dipping an attempt just past the post.

Norwich went ahead through an own goal by Heggem who accidently poked in following quick play around the area.

The Baggies came back immediately with an equaliser through Josh Maja, the striker converted Tom Fellows ball to make it 2-2.

Plus there was more drama, a Mikey Johnston drive hit a Norwich player and fell to Karlan Grant whi finished well, only for the referee to judge he handballed during the build-up.

The chances continued into the second half, with Angus Gunn saving Molumby’s shot and Holgate guided the resulting corner off-target early on.

The Baggies defended Sainz’s counter-attack superbly, ensuring he didn’t trouble Alex Palmer at the end.

Tom Fellows and Mikey Johnston both struck over as did Sainz, when the game quieted down and looked certain to being another draw.

A few substitutions from both teams didn’t quite have the desired outcome either meaning they took a point each come full time.

That result means the Baggies are now unbeaten in eight games but seven of those results are draws and still 6th in Championship.

Next up is a trip to league leaders Sunderland on Tuesday evening with a match preview coming out the night before the game.
