As the Championship gears up for another encounter it is the second game in 3 days as The Baggies take on Watford to maintain our play off hopes. This Easter Monday football hopes to promise as these sides lock horns at The Hawthorns.

On Good Friday The Baggies came with a 1-1 draw against Millwall thanks to a John Swift second-half penalty that secured the point. Watford came out with a 2-2 draw against high-flying Leeds United and was ahead twice in that game. On Monday it will be another difficult game and we have to perform more better than we did against Millwall as we are now approaching the business end of the season with just 7 games remaining.
We are currently seven points ahead of Coventry City who are in 7th place, and we need to get 13 points in our last 7 games to secure a place in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs and that could be lowered on Monday.
With both teams securing draws over Good Friday, I am predicting it be difficult and with our home record we see if this helps us in this encounter.
Player To Watch – Watford

Emmanuel Dennis is my player to watch for Watford on Easter Monday as he is the player in form for the Hornets right now after scoring 2 goals in both games with Tom Cleverley the interim manager since Valérien Ismaël got sacked.
Dennis possess a lot of quality in his game including speed and skill on the ball and can have a knack for scoring goals like he did against In-form side Leeds United on Friday, this is the reason why he is the key player to watch for Watford in their game against the Baggies. With his good form in the last few games, I think our fans and players would have high expectations in keeping Emmanuel Dennis quiet in this match.
I think Emmanuel Dennis would be most West Brom fans player to watch out for and think he will cause a few problems on Monday. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does score against us at The Hawthorns as I still have bad memories from last season when Ismaïla Sarr scored from his own half. Lets hope Dennis and the other Watford players do the same thing again.
Player To Watch – West Brom

The player I go for who would be key for us is Tom Fellows, he looked lively since he came on for us against Millwall on Friday. He also provided 2 assists for the England Under 20’s in the International Break and at the minute I say he is one of the key players for us in what we need come the business end of the season.
I think he will cause the Watford players some problems at The Hawthorns and could easily score for us. His speed and creativity is what causes the opposition defenders to look terrified.
In the ever-evolving world of football, young talents like Tom Fellows emerge as symbols of hope and inspiration. With his skill, versatility, and the unwavering support of the West Bromwich Albion faithful, Fellows is poised to write his own chapter in the club’s storied history. As the chant reverberates around The Hawthorns, one thing is certain: with Tom Fellows leading the charge, the future looks bright for the Baggies.
He is a young talent coming from the ranks and has had transfer interest with the likes of Everton and Leicester keen on the 20 year old before he signed a new contract with us earlier this year. I say he is poised to write his own chapter for our club and as the chant Tom Fellows Always Believing in the words of Gold by Spandau Ballet rings around The Hawthorns and when we play away from home.
Fellows is poised to write his own chapter in the club’s storied history. As the chant reverberates around The Hawthorns, one thing is certain: with Tom Fellows leading the charge, the future looks bright for the Baggies.
My Line Up V Watford

Team line up for Monday is where I will make a few changes following our 1-1 draw to Millwall with players looking tired and not performed well in the last game. I will start Pipa and Ajayi and would replace them with Conor Townsend and Kyle Bartley and in attack Tom Fellows should be starting and would replace with Jed Wallace and John Swift and Thomas Asante will start with Grady Diangana and Andreas Weimann make way on the bench.
Predictions
This will be another tough game after drawing 1-1 to Millwall on Friday where our first half performance was not the best, this is somehow where we need to improve on if we concede early here I think it be difficult to comeback and get the 3 points against a Watford side.
If we need to get into the play-offs we need 13 more points and winning against Watford on Monday I would think we would get in and we have tough games coming up like Stoke Away, Sunderland at Home and Leicester Away which is hard teams to get results at. On Monday I think again the Baggies will win despite our home form this season.
I say we get the opening goal before half time and say Tom Fellows will score, Second half I think Watford will get the equaliser with Emmanuel Dennis to give them hope and it will be end to end throughout the second half and I say the Baggies will get a penalty in the last 5 minutes with John Swift to secure all but three points from the spot.
With this prediction, I would go for a 2-1 win on Easter Monday to finish the Easter weekend in style lets hope I am right and this helps us get a step closer in securing a top six finish and dream of playing at Wembley come May.
Prediction: West Brom 2-1 Watford
Goalscorers for West Brom: Tom Fellows, John Swift
Goalscorers for Watford: Emmanuel Dennis
