The Baggies head into Ashton Gate with a much-needed boost after ending their poor run of form in emphatic style last weekend. The Baggies swept aside play-off hopefuls Hull City with a convincing 3–0 victory, restoring confidence and giving them momentum at a crucial stage of the season.

It was the best game I’ve seen in years at The Hawthorns last weekend, every player seemed to give their all and are looking to be playing for James Morrison who is currently interim manager. Now after our 3-0 win over Hull City, can the Baggies get another result here that can keep them away from relegation.
There are 8 games remaining and every game is looking to be more interesting and definitely results need to be picked up in order to avoid relegation. Confidence is more better around the team after picking up 5 points in 3 games.
Player To Watch – Bristol City

Scott Twine is a player the Baggies should keep a close eye on this Saturday afternoon. The midfielder has been one of their standout performers this season, by contributing 10 goals and 6 assists in the Championship so far.
His ability to strike from distance, delivers dangerous set pieces and unlocks defenders with a moment of quality makes him a constant threat in the final third, especially with us conceding quite late into the game, Twine looks to be our biggest worry. He remains their most reliable creative outlet and someone capable of changing the game in an instant.
If West Brom are to build on last weekend’s momentum, limiting Twine’s influence will be key — because give him space, and he has the quality to punish it.
Player To Watch – West Brom

Danny Imray is quickly becoming a key figure for West Brom and is certainly one to watch heading into Saturday’s clash. Currently on loan from Crystal Palace, the 22 year old is making a real impression during his spell at The Hawthorns.
He put in an outstanding performance last time out against Hull City, earning Man of the Match in a dominant 3–0 win. Since James Morrison stepped in as interim boss, Imray has looked full of confidence and intent, establishing himself as an important part of the side.
His energy, composure on the ball, and willingness to drive forward have added a new dimension to West Brom’s play, and he’s beginning to show why he’s so highly rated. With momentum building and his influence growing, Imray will be looking to back up his last performance with another big display — and could once again play a decisive role.
My Line Up V Bristol City

Here is my line up I’ll go for at Bristol City away, the same line up as last week with Max O’Leary in goal, the same four of Imray, Phillips, Campbell and Styles.
In midfield I have Diakite and Molumby in a pair with Jed Wallace and Isaac Price as wingers with Aune Heggebo and Josh Maja in a front two who are looking to kick on with after ending their league goal droughts over the weekend.
Prediction V Bristol City
Now it’s time to make a prediction, last weekend I did predict we would win over Hull City and said a 2-1 win, however it was a decent 3-0 win. Lets hope what my prediction would do this week.
I think it be a quiet 10 minutes with both sides not putting any decent chances away, around the 35th minute Josh Maja would have a chance but the Bristol City keeper would make a decent save to prevent the Baggies gaining a opener. It would end goalless at the break.
In the second half, it would be quiet in the opening stages and around the 74th minute the deadlock would be broken with Isaac Price making a smart run into Ollie Bostock who would strike it from distance to give us the opening goal and lead at Ashton Gate.
However around the 85th minute mark, Bristol City would have a free-kick given and it would be a repeat of what he did at Burnley 3 years ago, Scott Twine scoring a free-kick to put the scores back level pegging.
It would be a very edgy end to the second half with Bristol City being dominant but wouldn’t be enough to put chances away for both sides as I’m going for a stalemate scoreline.
Prediction: Bristol City 1-1 West Brom
Goalscorer for Bristol City: Scott Twine
Goalscorer for West Brom: Ollie Bostock
I’m on the fence for this one, I know we’ve stopped the rot last weekend but have we stopped our away day woes yet? as the Baggies haven’t won away since October 1st 2025. I do think it be a different game to last week and we have struggled away throughout the last few seasons, I say Bristol City would be up for it as I’m going for a draw here.
