Here we go, the international break has come to an end after England performances weren’t great throughout, our attention now turns to Easter Weekend as the race against the drop hots up as Wrexham visit The Hawthorns.

The Championship returns on Friday for a Easter double header as we face play-off hopefuls Wrexham as we look to win our third game on the bounce that can help us avoid the drop.
The Baggies have been unbeaten throughout March after two draws away to Sheffield United and a late draw over Southampton plus two straight wins with a 3-0 win over Hull and last time out a 1-0 win over Bristol City before the break.
James Morrison is doing a decent job in his interim spell so far and could he carry on this run of results to avoid relegation and to get the job full time.
Player To Watch – Wrexham

From a West Brom perspective, the player we’ll need to keep a very close eye on this Good Friday is Josh Windass. He’s having a strong season for Wrexham, with 10 goals and 5 assists in 34 league games, and looks like their main source of attacking quality. Whether he’s playing just off the striker or drifting into wider areas, he’s the one who tends to make things happen when they get forward.
What makes Windass a real threat is how unpredictable he is in the final third. He’s not just a finisher—he links play well, makes intelligent late runs into the box, and isn’t afraid to have a go from distance. That kind of movement can cause problems if we switch off defensively, especially in transition where Wrexham are at their most dangerous.
If we’re going to get a result against Wrexham AFC, keeping Windass quiet has to be a priority. Give him space, and he’s more than capable of punishing us—either by scoring himself or creating something out of nothing.
Player To Watch – West Brom

From a West Brom point of view, one player to watch heading into the Good Friday clash with Wrexham is Isaac Price. He made a huge impact earlier in the season—most notably back in August when Albion edged Wrexham 3–2, with Price at the heart of the action. At that stage, he genuinely looked like an early Player of the Season contender, driving the team forward with energy, creativity, and a real eye for goal.
His form dipped as the campaign went on, but in recent weeks there have been clear signs that he’s getting back to his best—especially under interim boss James Morrison. Price looks sharper, more confident on the ball, and is starting to influence games again in the way he did earlier in the season. His ability to carry the ball through midfield and pick out dangerous passes could be key in breaking Wrexham down.
With a massive double-header coming up against Wrexham and Blackburn Rovers, Albion will need their big players to step up—and Price feels like one who could make the difference. If he can rediscover that early-season spark, he’ll fancy his chances of causing Wrexham problems once again and playing a decisive role over the weekend.
Line up V Wrexham

The line up over Wrexham, I have Griffiths kept in goal with the same back four from the last game against Bristol City.
In midfield I have Molumby alongside Alex Mowatt as Diakite was part of the Mali national side during the international break, with Jed Wallace and Isaac Price as wingers with a front two of Aune Heggebo and Daryl Dike.
Prediction V Wrexham
Now for predictions over Wrexham at home, last time out I predicted we draw 1-1 to Bristol City and came away with a 1-0 win with a George Campbell header in the first half gave us out second win in a row since August and currently unbeaten in four games.
However we are still in a relegation battle and are 4 points above the drop zone, a few more defeats we could be back into it and a few wins would completely put us out of danger and avoid unexpected relegation to the third tier.
For this one, I say Blackburn away is tougher than Wrexham at home even though our opponents on Friday are looking for a play off place that could potentially get them promoted for the 4t straight season, Blackburn are on the same points as us and it’s a huge game as over 7,000 are travelling to Ewood Park.
I think the opening stages of the game, Wrexham would have a few chances with Griffiths making an excellent stop to deny Sam Smith to break the deadlock as I see it being goalless at the break.
In the second half, around the 56th minute mark the deadlock would be broken and I have to say it be our opponents Wrexham would get the opener with Josh Windass striking from outside the box to beat Griffiths to give them the 1-0 lead.
The Baggies would try and one back with the Wrexham defence being at the top of their game throughout, around 87 minutes I say the equaliser would come as Aloba would make a smart move for Isaac Price to strike and give us the needed goal. Added time there be nothing to do it as the scores would finish here 1-1.
Prediction: West Brom 1-1 Wrexham
Goalscorers for Wrexham: Sam Smith
Goalscorers for West Brom: Isaac Price
I think this scoreline as a 1-1 draw written all over it, Wrexham are in form and chasing a play-off place as West Brom have found their form under James Morrison and looking to avoid relegation, both sides are chasing something as they would be looking for a result in this one, I say it be an even game and with it being that I say it’s going to be one outcome a draw.
