The Baggies have made it back-to-back Championship wins and their first win away from home since November 2024 with a stunning 3-2 win over Wrexham at the Racecourse.

A brace from Isaac Price, and a goal from substitute Jed Wallace in the first 22 seconds coming onto the pitch, earnt the Baggies all three points in Wrexham.

We grew into the game quite well by frustrating our opponents who are playing their first Championship game in over 40 years.

21 minutes into the game, we took the lead where Tom Fellows beat James McClean down the right before finding Isaac Price with the attacking midfielder who made no mistake in smashing the ball home to give us the lead.

Before half time, Wrexham got one back with a equaliser where Lewis O’Brien scored to put the scores level at the break.

In the second half, we started off brightly where Nat Phillips could only head one attempt wide and see another shot saved, where Callum Styles also curled one off-target.

Coady hooded Wrexham’s best opening chance wide, Wrexham were then unable to create many opportunities, Albion managed to assert them on proceedings.

Mikey Johnston and Jed Wallace then came on to the field of play, then 22 seconds later Jed Wallace then scored to the away side back ahead with 16 minutes left to play.

Isaac Price then got his brace by heading the ball home through Mikey Johnston’s cross that by sure as given the Baggies all three points to bring back home from Wales.

Wrexham then had a consolation goal in the last seconds of added time, with Smith heading in from close range, but was too late to stage a comeback where full time was blown and scenes in the away end as claimed the Baggies would go away with the points.

Wrexham 2-3 West Brom

Goalscorers for Wrexham: L. O’Brien (42′) S. Smith (90’+5)

Goalscorers for West Brom: I. Price (20′, 81′), J. Wallace (74′)

A good win up in Wales on Saturday and a great three points it was, our first away win since November 2024. I did expect there would be goals in this encounter and there was many as I did predict the scoreline would be 3-2 on the match preview.

Next up on Saturday is Portsmouth as where we are back at The Hawthorns, meanwhile Wrexham are at home agaun as they take on troubled Sheffield Wednesday.
