Unbeaten and top of the league West Bromwich Albion face Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle on Saturday at The Hawthorns. Can The Baggies keep their unbeaten streak going and stay top of the league?

It is been a great start to the Championship season so far where the Baggies are top of the league and have picked up 13 points and four wins from the opening five games and last time out we was on the road down in Portsmouth where we came away with a 3-0 win with Josh Maja’s early goal and Alex Mowatt with a brace on Sunday afternoon.
For Plymouth they won their first league game of the season with a 3-2 win over Sunderland who was top of the league last weekend. Can Plymouth secure their second win against a team of the table for the second week running?
This game at The Hawthorns against Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth isn’t easy as they did beat Sunderland last weekend who was top of the table but I do think it is possible to keep our unbeaten streak going to 6 games let’s see how we fare against them on Saturday.
Player To Watch – Plymouth Argyle

Morgan Whittaker is my player to watch for this game against the Baggies. With 20 goals since joining Plymouth from Swansea last season he could be looking to add another goal to his belt on Saturday. He has managed to score just one goal for Argyle this season but he could be eying more and would be thinking the Hawthorns is the best place to score one.
I do think our defenders could keep him quiet over 90 minutes on Saturday Afternoon but he is capable of been a threat to us and wouldn’t surprise me if he causes us an upset come full time on Saturday. I hope not but he is one of the top scorers in the Championship last season and at his age he could be potentially one of the best players in the league and I also wanted him to join us over the Summer Transfer Window as he could be easily a top six striker.
Player To Watch – West Brom

Josh Maja is going to be the player to watch for West Brom against Plymouth, he is yet to score at home this season despite being the top scorer in the Championship as he is the one who is scoring in our away games like most opposition strikers did against us when we was away from home last season.
I do believe he would get his first Hawthorns goal since the Leicester game last season and Plymouth’s defence isn’t the best and he would cause problems and would be looking to get more goals to his tally for this season. He also has got our fans singing Josh Maja’s on my mind in the tune of Do Wah Diddy Diddy by Manfred Mann.
Can Josh Maja help us secure a win and keep us top of the Championship for another week?
My Line Up V Plymouth Argyle

I would start the same 10 players but I would replace John Swift with Mikey Johnston who I would give his first start since joining us on deadline day. I would put Karlan Grant behind Josh Maja who is currently top goalscorer.
My Prediction V Plymouth Argyle
Coming back to The Hawthorns for the first time in 3 weeks with an international break and a trip down to Portsmouth. Now its time to make a prediction here I think in the first 15 minutes Plymouth would cause us some problems and I say Morgan Whittaker would score early on to make it 1-0 to Plymouth but it wouldn’t last long as Plymouth are good in attack and would score goals but there defence isn’t the best.
Just before half time we would get an equaliser with Karlan Grant making it 1-1 to come at half time being held to Plymouth Argyle.
Second half early on Plymouth would get a penalty and Ryan Hardie would give Argyle the lead around the 55th minute mark and with changes for us we would be back in it with Mikey Johnston making it 2-2 in the 70th minute.
It wouldn’t last 2-2 as we would get a corner with Semi Ajayi firing us to give us a 3-2 lead with around 10 minutes to go and just before additional time we would give Argyle a big blow this time with Josh Maja scoring his first Hawthorns goal of the season to give us a 4-2 win over Plymouth Argyle and keep us at the top of the league for another week.
Prediction: West Brom 4-2 Plymouth Argyle
Goalscorers for West Brom: Karlan Grant, Mikey Johnston, Semi Ajayi, Josh Maja
Goalscorers for Plymouth Argyle: Morgan Whittaker, Ryan Hardie
A 4-2 win I’m going for, I predict we would face a scare twice but would still overcome Plymouth and would get the three points. Lets hope we would get a win comfortably but I think anyone would take a 4-2 win come 5’o Clock on Saturday.
Lets see what would happen and I did predict us to win 3-1 last weekend and we scored 3 goals but managed to keep a clean sheet. For this game I predict us to score 4 times, Come on you Baggies!
