The Baggies have carried on their unbeaten run and beat Swansea 1-0 to make it three wins in four in the league.

Three points were earned at The Hawthorns following Jayson Molumby’s first half injury time strike making it three wins in four as we now move 2nd in the table going into the international break next weekend.

An unchanged first 11 it was for the fourth consecutive league game, however we did introduce new signings Uros Racic and Callum Styles who came off the bench to make their debut for the club.

We started off well almost scoring three times early on when Tom Fellows saw a low effort saved  and Josh Maja’s had an header saved by the Swansea keeper.

The Baggies did create a couple more opportunities, John Swift who volleyed over and Karlan Grant side-footing off-target, before finally the breakthrough arrived just ahead of half-time.

There was great play between Maja and Molumby that enabled the former to set-up the latter, and Molumby put us ahead with a superb finish to give us a 1-0 lead at half time.

It all changed following the second half as it was the same last weekend at Stoke where Swansea put pressure on us at the start of the second half.

Alex Palmer was busy, denying Eom Ji Sung’s effort to round him and Goncalo Franco’s poke, while also holding out Viponik’s finish.

We did create more chances as when Uros Racic came on he nearly doubled our lead where his shot was narrowly off the target with Tom Fellows doing the same moments later.

The Baggies held on throughout the final moments and secured another win where this now puts us second in the table just below Sunderland and our third victory in four in the league this season.
