A goal-less afternoon at The Hawthorns as the Baggies draw to Southampton in the first leg of the Play-Offs and now it is all to play for on Friday night at St-Mary’s in the second leg that decides who will be going to Wembley.

Carlos Corberan named an unchanged line up from the Preston game and we started off well in a fantastic atmosphere.
Bartley saw his shot early in the first half blocked before Mikey Johnston struck wide as the Baggies put pressure on the Saints. The opposition started to threaten us in the middle of the first half when Kyle Walker-Peters saw his shot deflected off the target and then Flynn Downes failed to convert a finish past Alex Palmer.
In the 34th minute the Baggies had a great opportunity when Tom Fellows set up Grady Diangana that saw his header kept out by the Saints goalkeeper Alex McCarthy that saw the scoreline 0-0 at half time.
In the second half, we had a chance when Mikey Johnston sent a cross to the back post for Darnell Furlong that he could poke only wide, then Alex Mowatt had a free kick with 15 minutes from time and we went close right after the free kick when Diangana frustrated the Saints defence but McCarthy saved his show following excellent play from Tom Fellows.
The Baggies then had a penalty shout turned away during injury time which was a free kick from the edge of the box, it ended 0-0 and it is onto Southampton on Friday night.
