A great result up at Leeds as the Baggies drew 1-1 at Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime as Darnell Furlong’s goal secured a point against the league leaders.

Few changes was made in Leeds with Semi Ajayi (Injured) and Tom Fellows who made the bench was replaced with Kyle Bartley and John Swift.
Swift almost put us in front seven minutes in who side-footed inches wide and the scoreline remained goalless.
However, league leaders Leeds got one in front and it was Firpo’s header who put the hosts into the lead.
Afterwards, Adam Armstrong saw his finish saved and they grabbed a equaliser before half time, with Swift who delivered a free-kick to the back post for Furlong’s header that found the far corner to put us level at the break.

Leeds then poked in the early stages of the second half and Joe Wildsmith kept out Dan James effort and the back line blocked an Ao Tanaka’s attempt.
Down the other end of the pitch, Furlong could of scored again when Johnston crossed to him, this time he couldn’t keep his header under the crossbar.
Leeds sub Mateo Joseph hit the woodwork as the game reached it’s final 15 minutes, whilst Mikey Johnston also had an effort well denied for the brave Baggies.
Both Leeds and West Brom battled to try and claim a winner but Tom Fellows was denied by a last-ditch challenge on the counter while Leeds Daniel James hit the side netting with his late effort securing a decent point at Elland Road.
West Brom: Wildsmith; Furlong, Bartley, Heggem, Styles; Molumby, Mowatt; Price (Fellows 83), Swift (Diangana 69), Johnston (Dike 83); Armstrong (Grant 69).
