England are playing their final group game on Tuesday night knowing a win would see them as group winners in Group C and could be likely to face a team who have finished 3rd in either Group D, E or F.

The Three lions have gained 4 points out of 6 knowing they could be in a safe position to still qualify for the last 16 and it’s still in their hands to win the group. Slovenia have also drawn their 2 games so far at Euro 2024 and if they beat us then they would finish ahead of us, it is all to play for in our last fixture in the group stages.

I think Slovenia could be the easiest team in our group and a win here would see us group winners, the Denmark game was not that great but we have to win the group if not we could face Germany in the last 16 if we finish second.

Player To Watch – Slovenia

Benjamin Sesko in action for Slovenia at the Euros.

Benjamin Sesko forward who plays for German side RB Leipzig would be my player to watch in this fixture. The 21 year old signed from Red Bull Salzburg last season and in his debut season he has scored 14 goals in 31 Bundesliga games and has helped his Leipzig side secure Champions League football for next season.

He hasn’t got off the mark at Euro 2024 yet but he could try and help his International side Slovenia get into the knockout stages if he could pull off a shock and be at his best to beat England. I think if he does play and he brings his form into this game then it could be a difficult for us to get the win we need.

Lets hope our defenders can keep Sesko quiet on Tuesday.

Player To Watch – England

Cole Palmer scored for England in one their warm up games for Euro 2024.

The player to watch for England on Tuesday night would be Cole Palmer as I think he should be in the side after his excellent season with Chelsea. I would play him behind Kane for the final game and he should be getting the game time he needs has he has played 0 minutes at Euro 2024 so far.

If he came on against Denmark on Thursday, I think we would of come away with a win and he was the missing player as he is also the most in-form player in the side alongside Bellingham since the season has finished. Palmer has scored 22 goals in 33 games since signing for Chelsea from Man City last summer and has made an impact by helping Chelsea turn their season around in the 2nd half of the season after guiding them to 6th where it looked like they would finish in the bottom half again after having a poor start to the season.

Would you start Cole Palmer on Tuesday?

My Line Up V Slovenia

A few changes made where Kieran Tripper who is injured is placed by Joe Gomez, I start Gallagher ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfielder, also Cole Palmer is set to make a start at the Euros with Phil Foden who would make way on the bench but I would keep Bellingham, Saka and Kane in attack.

My Prediction V Slovenia

Prediction for the final game of the group stages for Euro 2024, if we make the knockout stages where it is likely we would I still be doing match previews and match reviews for England all the way to the Final. I have not posted much Baggies news of late but with the fixtures coming out on Wednesday I would be making a post about that and what games I be looking forward to and what would be the Boxing Day fixture, the Easter games (Good Friday and Easter Monday) and the last game of the season.

Right, lets get down to the predictions for this game Slovenia are the easiest team to face and we played them before in the last group stage game back in 2010 by a Jermain Defoe goal that got us to a World Cup last 16 where we lost to Germany 4-1.

This time we could face Germany again in the last 16 if we fail to beat Slovenia and Denmark win. What I think is that we would score first with Harry Kane getting the first in the first 10 minutes and before half-time Cole Palmer would double the scoreline to 2-0.

Second half I think Slovenia would get a goal where Sesko would make it 2-1 from the penalty spot, I could see them trying to make it 2-2 throughout the second half and then Jude Bellingham would finish them off where The Three Lions would win the group with a 3-1 victory over Slovenia to get us through to the last 16.

Prediction: England 3-1 Slovenia

Goalscorers for England: Harry Kane, Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham

Goalscorers for Slovenia: Benjamin Sesko

A 3-1 victory that would make England top the group and a last-16 tie to a team that finishes 3rd in their group. That is my prediction so lets see what happens come 10’o clock on Tuesday.

Come on England!
