The final away game of the season ended in a goalless draw as this has ended all of our play-off hopes and has sent the Bluebirds down to League One.

It didn’t seem this should of been a goalless draw as both teams saw goals disallowed and plenty of chances that was missed, with 36 attempts between both as points were shared.
The Skyblues started well where Isaac Price cleared Cardiff’s Calum Chambers header off the line during there early attempt.
The Baggies then grew int the games and assaulted Cardiff’s goal with shots. Diakite, Furlong and Grant all had their attempts blocked with Styles who also struck wide.
Isaac Price went close who hit the post and the ball crawled across the line. Cardiff did have the ball in the net before the break, but their celebrations were cut short after the linesman put his flag up to rule the goal out.
Cardiff should of took the lead in the hour mark with Josh Griffiths pulling off two fantastic saves and had attempts that smashed the woodwork in a matter of seconds.
Albion created openings, too. Grant saw a powerful one held, and Armstrong raced through only for Horvath to eventually save his tame finish.
Daryl Dike should of won us the game by nodding home a cross but was ruled out because the Cardiff keeper had his hands on the ball.
The game ended with a goalless draw a result that ended Cardiff’s stay in the Championship and are relegated to League One.
Cardiff 0-0 West Brom
West Brom: Griffiths; Furlong, Bartley, Heggem, Styles; Diakite, Mowatt; Fellows (Johnston 85), Price (Wallace 65), Grant; Armstrong (Dike 78).
Away days are finished for the season and one more game left of the 2024-25 Championship campaign and it is Luton at home next who are also looking not to be relegated by the Baggies for the 2nd time running.
