After Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough at home, The Baggies are back at The Hawthorns again on Saturday as they entertain Millwall to regain their place in the automatic promotion places before the international break.

Following Hayden Hackney’s goal for Middlesbrough in the week, the Baggies have now lost two games on the bounce with Millwall on the horizon can they go back to winning ways against a side they haven’t won against in 6 games having drawn 4 times and lost twice.

Millwall lost to bottom side Cardiff 1-0 in the week but have won games by 3 goals at home to Sheffield Wednesday and Preston. With Millwall being one of our bogey sides like I said about Sheffield Wednesday last weekend I think it be difficult if we come away with all three points come Saturday evening.

Player To Watch – Millwall

One of the Championship’s best players so far this season who is in red hot form at the minute where the player to watch for our opposition for matchday 9 is Duncan Watmore. He is currently 3rd in the top scorers list in the league with 5 goals in 8 appearances for the Lions and when a player is in form they do want to get one over the Baggies.

With Watmore wanting to add more to his goal tally for this season he would have what it takes to add more when coming to The Hawthorns he would cause problems and is likely to burst our bubbles for much longer.

Nothing would surprise me with the opposition players where the last 2 players to watch in our last 2 games become the sides man of the match with Josh Windass for Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and Hayden Hackney on Tuesday night. Can Duncan Watmore be the 3rd player to cause a Baggies heartbreak this weekend?

Player To Watch – West Brom

Player to watch for the Baggies this weekend is a tough one I actually think Karlan Grant could surprise me against Millwall. He played a good game against Middlesbrough the other night he has pace in the wing and knows how to score goals.

I say Grant could be at his best in this game as it has shown in games this season he is starting to become more of a player he was at Huddersfield and would prove the fans wrong in this coming season, with only one goal to his name this season against Stoke I think he could add some more to his tally and could have a chance against Millwall this weekend.

Is Karlan Grant your player to watch this weekend or any other player?

My Line Up V Millwall

The line up there be changes as Mason Holgate would get his league start and Jayson Molumby would come back in the starting 11 if fit to play alongside Alex Mowatt. I would start Tom Fellows and Mikey Johnston and play Karlan Grant in attacking midfield with Josh Maja starting as the lone striker.

My Prediction V Millwall

The hardest part of the match previews is where I predict the outcome of the upcoming game in the Championship.

Last time out I predicted us to draw to Middlesbrough and lost 1-0, now for this encounter I say Millwall would be all over us in the first few minutes and with one of their first shots they would break the deadlock with Duncan Watmore I’m going for to score the first goal for the Lions.

It would be another nightmare start for us but this won’t last as I think the Baggies would level before the break with Karlan Grant equalizing for us. It be 1-1 at half time knowing that the next 45 minutes could be any side going away with all 3 points.

It would stay 1-1 until the 83rd minute mark where I think Mikey Johnston would get the winner for us to make it 2-1 and secure our win to go back to winning ways.

Prediction: West Brom 2-1 Millwall

Goalscorers for West Brom: Karlan Grant, Mikey Johnston

Goalscorers for Millwall: Duncan Watmore

A 2-1 win I’m going for, I hope we could do this and go back to winning ways, Millwall are a difficult side to play against and haven’t beat them in the last 6 meetings but I’m backing us to get the victory on Saturday.
