The Baggies are back in league action as they face beaten play off finalists Leeds United at The Hawthorns on Saturday lunchtime.

West Brom face Leeds United after their 3-1 win over QPR last Saturday in their opening game, also we were knocked out in the first round of The EFL Cup by Fleetwood 2-1 on Tuesday evening. Now the Baggies face Leeds who also drew 3-3 to Portsmouth in their opening league game and also lost 3-0 to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
We come to our first home game of the season after 98 days since our last home game to Southampton in the play offs. I said Fleetwood would be an easy game for us to win but we lost, I think this one would be a difficult game and I have tipped Leeds to secure promotion back to The Premier League this season but with our home record great last season I think we could get a result here.
Player To Watch – Leeds United

Georginio Rutter would be my player to watch for Leeds United on Saturday as only he made it in the team of the season for last season, he made 15 assists and 7 goals last season.
At 22 years of age I think he would kick on from his stats from last season and could improve and get more assists and goals to his name for Leeds as he is aiming to gain promotion for his club. With his pace up front he would cause havoc at The Hawthorns.
Leeds United have a number of quality players in their squad and say it’s one of the best in the Championship but Rutter catches my eye for this fixture.
Player To Watch – West Brom

A good performance from this one against QPR last week but I am going for him to be the player to watch for the Baggies against Leeds, it’s Josh Maja.
A hat trick last game came to a surprise as soke fans thought we haven’t got a striker who could score 15+ a season but I think we could have one or two if Josh Maja is in form for us this season, even Karlan Grant can get to that tally if he can fire goals, but for me I think Maja would again be electric for us and could put more misery to Leeds after they had a cupset like us in the week.
I believe Maja could create problems for us but could it be enough to win us the game against Leeds?
My Line Up V Leeds United

This is the line up I go for against Leeds on Saturday with Diakite starting in midfield alongside Alex Mowatt and keep the same attacking players with John Swift, Karlan Grant and Tom Fellows just behind Josh Maja.
Prediction V Leeds United
My prediction against Leeds United is a difficult one like I say with most games but with Leeds United not starting off well against Portsmouth and Middlesbrough in the cup, I think if we be at our best we could get a result against them.
I say it be goalless in the first 35 minutes before we get a penalty just before half time with Josh Maja scoring from the spot to make it 1-0 to the Baggies at half time.
Second half Leeds would be attacking to try and get back to 1-1 but around the 65th minute mark the Baggies would double their lead with Tom Fellows making it 2-0 for us.
Then I can see Leeds getting one back with Wilfried Gnonto making it 2-1 they would try and get the equaliser but it would be too late for them.
I’m going for a 2-1 Baggies win on Saturday, it would be a great result for us and put us near the top of the table for a few hours. It’s not Saturday yet and the game hasn’t started yet but it’s my prediction that we could win this game.
Lets see what happens out there come Saturday dinnertime and back the Baggies!
Prediction: West Brom 2-1 Leeds United
