A frustrating Thursday afternoon in Frankfurt for the Three Lions as they are but qualified for the last 16 after they held out a 1-1 draw.

The Three Lions would have won the Group with a win today after Slovenia and Serbia drew but we were lucky to get a point after the game from a disorganized performance in the second group stage game where again we failed to win at this stage in the group stages.

Harry Kane gives the Three Lions the lead on the 18th minute.

Kane scored on the 18th minute to give England the lead, but this gave us hope we would qualify as group winners. Denmark equalized they needed when Hjulmard struck a 25-yard goal from 34 minutes in.

Phil Foden struck the post after the break and, while England are still at the head of their group, they must deliver vast improvements against Slovenia.

Foden hit the post in the second half to fail to get back ahead in the game. England are still top of the group and look like they would qualify for the last 16 but a win over Slovakia in the final group game would make them group winners on Tuesday.

It was a disappointing day for England but a draw was lucky and before the game I predicted we draw the game 1-1 and I was correct about the prediction but I still think we will qualify as group winners as we always struggle in the 2nd game in the Euros and World Cup and now we move for Tuesday night.
