The Baggies gained three points over our West Midlands rivals Coventry City to further our chances in the Championship Play Offs.

We started off well when Mikey Johnston scored a stunner in the 6th minute, making it his 3rd goal for the Baggies since joining on loan from Celtic.
Then, 38 minutes into the first half, we doubled our lead when Grady Diangana made it 2-0 with a left footed shot from the centre of the box from a cross from Tom Fellows.
Coventry did have chances of their own before half time when Ellis Simms’ right footed shot from outside the box was high and wide.
In the second half, there were chances for both the Baggies and Coventry City, where Mikey Johnston smashing his shot over and then goalkeeper saving two volleys from Coventry City’s Kasey Palmer and Victor Torp.

We seemed to be under pressure in the final third when Coventry had a penalty on the 73rd minute when Kasey Palmer was fouled in the box and their subsitute Haji Wright converted from the spot kick.
Changes were made following the setback when Nathaniel Chalobah and Kyle Bartley were brought on.
Coventry fought to try and get a result when Ellis Simms shot was struck over, and a few corners were wasted when Kipre made a few clearances.
