The Baggies survived the second half after being down to 10 men to secure a 1-0 win following a Adam Armstrong’s penalty on Saturday afternoon.

Armstrong’s penalty had given the hosts the lead before Darnell Furlong was shown a red card before half-time.

However, we fought on throughout the second half despite being down to 10 men all game by earning a clean sheet and three points in the Championship.

But Tony Mowbray’s team fought through the whole second period despite being a player down, excellently earning a clean sheet and three massive Sky Bet Championship points.

It was Fellows who set up Albion’s first chance, making a run through the QPR midfield and handing Mikey Johnston an opportunity, where he fired it over.

QPR threatened a few times who saw a free-kick well blocked by Isaac Price, and Jimmy Dunne, as the defender smashed one into the side-netting.

The Baggies then scored the opening goal in 40 minutes after Molumby earnt us our first penalty this season. Adam Armstrong then converted past Paul Nardi to give us a 1-0 lead.

In the second half Albion began without Darnell Furlong following his red card for an off the ball incident that involved Koki Saito.

Saito then could of levelled within minutes of the match restarting, nodding wide at close-range when it looked easier to net.

From then on in, the Baggies defended well. Ronnie Edwards struck wide from distance in a rare attempt, whilst Joe Wildsmith held a late Saito shot.

At the end the Baggies secured all three points and a victory despite a lengthy added time and some nervy final moments.
