Another Away trip for the Baggies as they travel to Preston on Saturday afternoon in the Sky Bet Championship, looking for a way to get back into the Championship’s top six.

Last time out was an away trip all the way up to Sunderland as the Baggies came away with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday evening meaning we have now drawn 8 out of the last 9 games in the league. Can the Baggies end the streak on Saturday at Preston, as I do feel most of our draws are against sides that is pushing for promotion and the play-offs, and we should of beaten Oxford United in that streak I do think this fixture wouldn’t be a draw this time.
Preston are not in the best of forms either as they are without a win in seven games and for us we normally do well against Preston as last season we came away with a 4-0 victory away there. It was the best away days of the season and the fans came back on the coach that day happy and wanting a drink on the official coaches, lol cannot forget that day.
Now lets get onto Players to watch for this encounter at the Deepdale Stadium.
Player To Watch – Preston

The player to watch for Preston would be Sam Greenwood the on loan player from Leeds United has been their top scorer this season and loves scoring at the Deepdale where he has scored the majority of his goals there.
This is making me worried, that strikers on the opposition against us normally scores on our away games, I do however feel that Sam Greenwood would be Preston’s key player for them on Saturday. With some of our defenders that could still be out he could be keeping an eye on our team news for this game and would look on how to keep his fine goalscoring form going.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Greenwood does give the Baggies some terror on Saturday afternoon, but I think we could handle him and try our best to keep him quiet.
Player To Watch – West Brom

I’m going for someone different, Grady Diangana would be my player to watch as I think this one would be the one where he comes to light, he does have his good games and his off days. For Preston I say he be the best player for us if he starts.
I feel he would try and help us secure a win and predict he could give the Preston’s defence a nightmare on Saturday, I say he would get his first goal of the season at the Deepdale Stadium but we would see how that would fare in my predictions column.
My Line Up V Preston

Prediction V Preston North End
I predicted a 1-0 win against Sunderland last time out, with my predictions this season the only game I predicted us to lose was Luton 4 weeks ago that ended 1-1.
In terms of my predictions if it all came off the Baggies would have 42 points and would be sitting top of the league by seven points. I have predicted us to have 13 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat to date this season that would of been impressive but having lost two in 17 and won 6, drew 9 and lost two it just be important that we need to turn our draws into wins but Preston would be one of our easy opponents to play yet.
My prediction is it would be quiet in the first 15 minutes but I can Preston scoring and they would get the first goal with Sam Greenwood firing it home in the 17th minute mark to make it 1-0 to Preston, near the 35 minute mark I think the Baggies would hit back to level the game with Grady Diangana scoring his first of the season, just before half time we would have a free kick and Mowatt would take and put us in the lead at the break at 2-1.
Second half, we would play like how we did against Sunderland and try to play for the 2-1 victory, Preston would have chances but would fail to score. The Baggies would try and end the game 3-1 but the second half there be no goals and the result would be 2-1 to West Brom come Saturday at 5pm. Lets see if that could put us back into the Championship’s top six.
Prediction: Preston 1-2 West Brom
Goalscorers for Preston: Sam Greenwood
Goalscorers for West Brom: Grady Diangana, Alex Mowatt
A 2-1 win I’m going for a narrow one it be like the Hull game as I think there be 3 goals in the first half and come the second half it would be quiet and there be no goals for the rest of the game and it would be us who would get all three points at the Deepdale on Saturday. Lets see what happens and hope we get our 7th win of the league season.
