Friday night game against Southampton would be the one to forget as the Baggies are travelling over 200 miles to Plymouth Argyle for Tuesday Night Football.

West Brom drew 0-0 against Plymouth back in October 2023.

It is the 3rd game in 7 days for the Baggies and Plymouth’s 3rd game in 6 days. This game will be tough as Plymouth is a decent side at home, and with our woeful away form so far this season, I would be surprised if we get something big in this encounter at Home Park.

Plymouth did lose on Saturday against Leeds United 2-0, but they only lost one home game in 11 games, and for the Baggies, this is a tough place to come.

Players To Watch- Plymouth Argyle

Morgan Whittaker Plymouth’s top goalscorer this season.

Morgan Whittaker is going to be my player to watch at Home Park on Tuesday night. The club record signing for Plymouth, who only cost £1m is their goal machine, who is the second joint top goalscorer in the league.

I expect him to cause some problems and think the likes of Cedric Kipre and Semi Ajayi have got a battle on their hands, but with their form, it will be another test for them and I think he will get the opening goal for Plymouth on Tuesday night.

Can we stop Morgan Whittaker on Tuesday?

Players To Watch- West Brom

Grady Diangana is celebrating a goal against Coventry City earlier this season.

Grady Diangana– Back from African Cup of Nations and didn’t really have enough game time during the competition, which cost us with him missing the last month.

He came on against Southampton on Friday but looked tired. However, I think he will be at his best again on Tuesday and might get us a goal that will get the Baggies fans excited about.

Diangana will be my player to watch for us as he is back and think he will get on the goalsheet.

My Line up V Plymouth Argyle

My line up against Plymouth Argyle.

A few changes needed following the game against Southampton. Tom Fellows and Grady Diangana must start, Semi Ajayi should be back in the first team, and Jed Wallace and Brandon Thomas Asante I would rest and bring in Andreas Weimann in my line up for Plymouth.

Predictions

I think it would be a tough night for the Baggies, with our away form Plymouth is a tough place to go to, and a long journey for us might add more misery to our players and fans.

Plymouth will attack from the start and will give it their all after their defeat to Leeds and will get the opening goal. I say I am not feeling confident we will get the three points here, but I am going to go for a 1-1 draw.

Plymouth 1-1 West Brom

Goalscorers for Plymouth: Morgan Whittaker

Goalscorers for West Brom: Grady Diangana

A draw at Plymouth would be my prediction, but let’s hope I’m wrong and see how this mid week clash will go at Plymouth. Come on you Baggies!
