Jude Bellingham’s only goal sealed England a victory in their opening game against Serbia in Euro 2024.

Bellingham settled the fans nerves early on in the first half from scoring a header by a cross from Bukayo Saka in the 13th minute of the half. It was his first goal after a great debut season at Real Madrid by lifting the Champions League trophy.

Jude Bellingham scored the only England goal in their opening Euro 2024 game.

Kyle Walker had a great chance to double the scoreline in the 25th minute by using his pace to get into the box and shot the ball across the goal.

England were dominate most of the first half but Serbia had a threat when Mitrovic sent a shot a few yards wide and failed to level the game.

After the break Serbia were the better side by winning more of the balls and putting the Three Lions on the back foot for much of the second half.

The Three Lions struggled for possession and Alexander-Arnold came off for former West Brom player Conor Gallagher and Saka was subbed off for Jarrod Bowen.

Kane also came close to making it 2-0 with a header from close range on the 77th minute but the Serbia Keeper Predrag Rajković pushed it onto the crossbar.

Pickford made a great save in the 82nd minute to stop Dusan Vlahovic’s shot from 22 yards.

Jordan Pickford also made a crucial save in the 82nd minute to keep out Dusan Vlahovic’s shot from about 22 yards.
