The first match preview of England’s Euro 2024 campaign as The Three Lions start their tournament on Sunday in Schalke, Germany. Baggies Talk are going to be previewing Euro 2024 this summer throughout the England games and also transfer news and Baggies updates.

England start their Euro 2024 opener against Serbia who qualified through Group G by finishing 2nd with Hungary just above them. I expect this to be an easy game for England but Serbia have got some quality players in them with the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Marko Arnautović and Dušan Tadić, but will the Three Lions stop their attacking threat and come back to winning ways after losing 1-0 in their friendly against Iceland last Friday.
England are in Group C and are joined by Serbia, Slovenia and Denmark who we faced in the Semi-Finals at Euro 2020. Lets hope it be a great Euro 2024 this summer and can we go one better after our final defeat to Italy 3 years ago.
Player To Watch- Serbia
I am going to be doing a player to watch section in this blog post for Euro 2024 and also be doing my predicted line up and predictions for this game later on in the post.

My player to watch for Serbia against England is going to be Ex-Fulham Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who now plays for Saudi side Al Hilal. I’m going for him as he has carried on his form for Al Hilal who won the Saudi League this season and won Fulham the Championship 2 seasons ago with breaking the Championship record with most goals in a season with 43 goals.
I expect Mitrovic to cause problems on Sunday night and if he was English he could be considered in our 26 team squad but he is under-rated whilst at Fulham and should of been picked up by a top-half Premier League side.
I think he is capable of getting a goal past us in our Euro 2024 opener but I think it still be a easy game for England but you never on when it comes to tournaments. Mitrovic would be a real eye to watch and most fans might not know he is playing when kick off approaches.
Player To Watch- England

Jude Bellingham the recently Champions League winner for Real Madrid couple of weeks ago and now has become my player to watch for England.
At 20 years of age he is known as one of the best players of the world at this moment known for his technical abilities, vision and finishing. He started of at Blues at the age of 16 and since in the last four years he has won the Champions League, La Liga and the Golden Boy Award. He signed for Real Madrid last season and has made a remarkable first season debut for the Spanish side.
I say Bellingham would be one of the key players to watch for England on Sunday and I’ll would start him behind Harry Kane and these pair could be dangerous through Euro 2024 this summer.
He can score goals just like Kane and with 55 goals combined between them this season I expect Bellingham to get a goal and an assist in this encounter against Serbia and could be one of the best players in this tournament if he builds his form in a England shirt.
My Line Up V Serbia

The Defence I would play Kieran Tripper and Kyle Walker in full back positions with Marc Guehi and John Stones as centre-backs. Trent Alexander Arnold would start against Serbia and would have him as his vision and passing can be a game changer.
Bellingham would get a start since the Champions League Final and Foden and Saka would play alongside him with Harry Kane up front as the lone striker.
My Prediction V Serbia
The first group stage game and I do find predictions quite difficult to make even I predicted most Baggies games wrong this season but I did go for us to lose to Sunderland though and us to beat Southampton on penalties in the play-offs.
Now it is England I am predicting and I think it could be an easy game to win for most fans but with Mitrovic at Serbia makes it difficult for me. I say England will go attacking early on and in the first 20 minutes I say Harry Kane will score from an Jude Bellingham assist and it be 1-0 at half time.
Second half, Mitrovic will get a equalizer for Serbia in the first 10 minutes to make it 1-1 but it won’t last long as Bellingham will get on the scoresheet to give the Three Lions the lead again. Then late on John Stones would come and score from a corner to give England a 3-1 win in the opening game of Euro 2024.
Prediction: England 3-1 Serbia
Goalscorers for England: Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, John Stones
Goalscorers for Serbia: Aleksandar Mitrovic
England to win 3-1 in the opening game against Serbia that gives us the 3 points before we move onto Denmark and Slovenia, I think England would win the group but the Denmark game would be tough on the Thursday night, if we do miss out on winning the group we could face Germany again in the Last 16.
Lets focus on Sunday night first and back the Three Lions at Euro 2024!
