It is the news all Baggies fans don’t want to hear as Cedric Kipre could be in talks with Turkish side Trabzonspor according to media in Turkey. Kipre’s contract ends at the end of this month and he is not looking to renew his contract at The Hawthorns and wants to move on from the Midlands club and hopes to play in Turkey so he can play in Europe.
Losing Cedric Kipre would be a huge blow and it looks like we won’t be getting any money in for him as he will sign for free. He has been our best player in the 2023-24 season and helped us finish 5th to secure a play-off place for the Baggies.
If Kipre does go we would have Semi Ajayi, Kyle Bartley and Caleb Taylor to cover our defence or we could go into the transfer market looking for another centre half to replace Kipre.
