What a great second half comeback at Huddersfield on Sunday afternoon, as The Baggies score four to secure their first weekend away win since September.

Okay Yokuslu’s scored from 25 yards out.

Another early morning get up to go to Huddersfield due to Sky Sports selecting nearly all of our away matches on TV. I took the coach from The Hawthorns all the way to the John Smith’s Stadium to watch The Baggies take on Huddersfield in an important game in the Sky Bet Championship.

I say The Baggies did not park the bus in the first half as we didn’t really make any chances and we looked dangerous on the ball allowing the Terriers to come at us.

Huddersfield who start the game in the Championship’s relegation places scored the opening goal on 30 minutes when Delano Burgzorg’s beat Darnell Furlong and placed a shot that went underneath Alex Palmer to make it 1-0 to Huddersfield.

It could of been worse for The Baggies in a dreadful first half for us when Kyle Bartley come to save us with a great tackle when Jack Rudoni looked like scoring Huddersfield’s second.

It was the first half to forget as we did not look at our best at all, and I think Carlos Corberan’s team talk at half time must of worked.

Second Half, we looked a completely different team, first Darnell Furlong had a chance to equalize for us with a header that was saved by Lee Nicholls. We finally did get what we was looking for when Andreas Weimann crossed it for Mikey Johnston to tap it in to make it 1-1.

Our Second Half comeback just got started when 9 minutes later, Alex Mowatt’s corner eventually got to Kyle Bartley who took the lead to make it 2-1 for the Baggies. We couldn’t stop for even more when Okay Yoksulu scored from the top corner from 25 yards out and should be one of our goals of the season to secure the third for the day for us.

Mikey Johnston’s celebrates the Baggies second half demolition against Huddersfield.

Then we got the fourth when Mikey Johnston scored a brace when he ran free down the left and drifted past Huddersfield’s defense and scored a wonderful beauty between Lee Nicholls’s legs.

What a day for The Baggies, we are back 5 points ahead of 6th place Norwich City and 7th place Hull City and sit in 5th place in the Championship. It looks as if we could be in those play off places come May but we still got 9 games left of the season and still all to play for.

Next up is Bristol City at home at The Hawthorns on Saturday meanwhile Huddersfield go to Rotherham for a Yorkshire derby.
