Another goalless draw for the Baggies against Millwall at The Hawthorns, as the point edges them further away from the relegation zone.

Both sides had chances in the early stages where Thierno Ballo chipped Milhailo Ivanovic’s through ball into the side netting when Daryl Dike met Callum Styles corner for it to only see his headed effort miss the target.

The visitors had the best opportunity in the first period where Coburn latched onto Ballo’s delivery for it to be side-footed on target that was wide of the mark.

Instead, his strike partner Ivanovic came the closest as the first half drew to a close. He latched onto the loose ball in the centre of the park and drive through a dipping effort onto Max O’Leary’s crossbar.

Zak Sturge then opened the second half by arrowing past the post before Dike headed a deep cross over at the back post.

The Baggies had a number of chances on the hour mark through George Campbell and Jayson Molumby, but neither of them could find the target as the game moved into the final stages of the game.

The hosts nearly won it in the final moments as Jayson Molumby saw his close-range strike find a block from goalkeeper Anthony Patterson and Ousmane Diakité placed a header wide.

But it wasn’t to be for Albion who took a share of the spoils to show for their efforts at The Hawthorns.

West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Another goalless draw as it’s our second successive 0-0 draw in the week, plus our 3rd draw in a row. Now unbeaten in 7 games and currently 2 points above the drop zone as other sides have won their games on Saturday. Now onto Preston Away on Saturday as I believe 2 wins out of our last 4 could keep us safe.
