A 7th successive away defeat on Tuesday evening as a dominant first half performance for the Saints denied a Baggies second half come back as it finished 3-2 at St-Mary’s Stadium.

Southampton went ahead in the 12th minute through Scienza, who finished off a quick counter-attacking move for the Saints.
Then Saints doubled the advantage like I said in my match preview that it would be 2-0 up inside 20 minutes where Adam Armstrong took advantage of a defensive error and slotted home to give Baggies more misery on the road.
Fans then turned on Ryan Mason chanting it’s time to go and Moments FC from the Black Country in what his is favorite word in his Post-Match interviews.
Callum Styles threatened twice for us where he was the only player in the first half that played well where he saw his first shot go wide and another shot was saved by the Southampton keeper.
Then a third goal came before half time as Adam Armstrong secured his brace giving us a lot of misery and a long first half it was in the South Coast.
The second half started brightly and even five minutes before kick-off I seen Ryan Mason sitting in the dug out on his own but we did however got a goal back in the 62nd minute through Karlan Grant’s effort.
Isaac Price had a flick that was saved that nearly got them within a few seconds later. Plus a series of corners that led to headers from Bielik, Philips and Molumby somehow didn’t find the net with Southampton keeper Gavin Bazunu saving twice and a Saints defender blocking the other over.
However, Phillips did finally convert a chance five minutes from the end to make things interesting.
Sam Iling-Junior went close during the end and couldn’t get a equaliser that would of gave us a memorable point as Southampton held to win the game 3-2 and now our 7th successive away defeat on the road.
Southampton 3-2 West Brom
Goalscorers for Southampton: Scienza 12′, Armstrong 17′ 35′
Goalscorers for West Brom: Grant 62′ Phillips 86′
Another defeat and an embrassing first half that resulted in a decent second half, there has to be pressure under Ryan Mason right now as most of the fans want him gone. He is now the favourite to be sacked in the Championship and another game on Friday night would be a must win for us if he wants to stay in the job for the Christmas period.
