The Baggies are back at The Hawthorns this Saturday lunchtime as they face the Owls in the Championship as they look to bounce back from two straight away defeats last time out.

Bottom of the league side Sheffield Wednesday come to The Hawthorns after being announced in administration last Friday and there is a sense of joy going around at Hillsborough as fans are relived to see their owner out of the club. Can the Baggies bounce back over the Owls and maintain their hopes of a play-off place?
This one for most fans is that we can win this one easily however I don’t think it be easy coming against Sheffield Wednesday as we have lost to teams around the bottom of the league in the past few seasons such as Plymouth, Rotherham and also Sheffield Wednesday a couple of seasons ago, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a result against us this weekend but I do feel there should be changes to the line up for this match.
Player To Watch – Sheffield Wednesday

The one I have gone for is Barry Bannan, he has been there for the club during their financial problems and doing anything he can to save them. We was after him in the summer but the Scottish winger stayed with the Owls.
Bannan has been one of their best players this season so far with a rating of 7.3 and has scored 2 goals and made 2 assists. At the age of 35 he still shows the Championship he can cause problems and has plenty of gas still in the tank. On Saturday against us I wouldn’t be surprised if he creates a number of chances for the Owls or be one of the key players to get a result at The Hawthorns.
Player To Watch – West Brom
The player I’m going for is Mikey Johnston,
His recent performances have shown a player full of confidence and intent, particularly in the win over Preston North End where he reminded supporters exactly why he was brought to the club on a permanent deal. Johnston has been a real livewire on the left flank, combining pace, sharp dribbling, and a willingness to take on defenders one-on-one. When West Brom are on the front foot, his ability to cut inside and create chances — either for himself or teammates — gives the side a dangerous edge in attack. With Wednesday likely to sit deep and frustrate, Johnston’s creativity and unpredictability could be key to unlocking their defence.
His goal against Preston at the last home game was the perfect example of what he brings to the team. Picking up the ball in space, Johnston drove forward and unleashed a stunning strike that flew past the goalkeeper — a goal that not only lifted the crowd but also seemed to lift his own confidence. It was the kind of moment that separates good players from special ones: instinctive, powerful, and technically precise. That finish captured the imagination of fans and underlined his ability to change a game in an instant.
Heading into the Sheffield Wednesday clash, Johnston will be full of belief and looking to build on that performance. His recent form suggests he’s rediscovering the consistency that once made him such a highly rated prospect, and with The Hawthorns crowd behind him, he has the platform to deliver again. If he can carry the same energy and directness he showed against Preston, he could very well be the difference-maker once more.
Line up V Sheffield Wednesday

The line up for Sheffield Wednesday, I change the full back as Alfie Gilchrist comes in for George Campbell and Charlie Taylor would come in for Callum Styles.
In midfield I have Alex Mowatt and Ousmane Diakite where Molumby and Collyer who are out injured.
In attack I have the same three of Iling Junior, Isaac Price and Mikey Johnston and a change of striker where I start Josh Maja instead of Heggebo for this game.
Prediction V Sheffield Wednesday
Prediction for Sheffield Wednesday, last time out I predicted we would go on and get a 4-2 win over Ipswich, how wrong was I?.
I was close to putting us down to lose after our defeat to Watford days before but our 1-0 loss has got fans turning against the players and manager.
If the Baggies continue their performances at Watford and Ipswich and don’t get a result here fans could turn toxic on Saturday against Ryan Mason. I don’t think it be the case though as I am confident we can edge past the Owls.
I say the first 20 minutes would be quiet with the Baggies trying to get the opener, with decent stops from Joe Lumley denying us. Around the 35th minute mark the deadlock be broken as Isaac Price makes a smart move to Josh Maja to fire the ball into the net to give us the lead 10 minutes before the break.
Around added time, the Baggies would strengthen their lead from a corner from Mikey Johnston who would string the ball into the box and Nat Phillips would smash in a header to put us 2-0 up at half time.
Around the 53rd minute, the Owls would get one back with Barry Bannan making a move for Bailey Cadamarteri to get his 2nd goal of the season and give his side hope of securing something at The Hawthorns. In the 64th minute Isaac Price does what he does best by scoring from 24 yards to put the scoreline at 3-1.
Then a few subs would come on in the 70th minute and around 10 minutes later Daryl Dike would get his first goal of the season from a Mikey Johnston’s cross that would help Dike header in his first of the season. With moments left of the game Dike would get his second with Heggebo who hold the ball then smartly passes it to Dike to fire in his brace of the game to help the Baggies get all three points here and a 5-1 win at The Hawthorns.
West Brom 5-1 Sheffield Wednesday
Goalscorers for West Brom: Josh Maja, Nat Phillips, Isaac Price, Daryl Dike (x2)
Goalscorers for Sheffield Wednesday: Bailey Cadamarteri
A 5-1 I’m going for like at the Molineux back in 2012 I am certain the Baggies can turn up and give Sheffield Wednesday a hard time. Lets hope it be a great day on Saturday and hopefully we can back the lads to get a result on home turf.
