Watford’s comeback hurt the Baggies on Wednesday evening after their two goals after Isaac Price’s decent finish, clinched the Hornets a win and gave the Baggies a miserable night at a wet evening at Vicarage Road.

It was Watford’s Javi Garcia second spell as manager and did get some wild chants from the away end “Your’re getting sacked in the morning” moments before kick off when he was applauded by the home fans.

The hope could of happened when Isaac Price’s decent strike in the second consecutive game put us ahead, but four minutes later it was back level when Imran Louza equalized that cancelled our lead out.

And they went close to a second twice after the break as Luca Kjerrumgaard flicked a header narrowly wide and Souza dipped one onto the roof of Josh Griffiths’ net.

In the second half, Watford got into the lead as Vata converted a low finish in the 58th minute to complete the Hornets comeback and make it 2-1 to them.

The Baggies could of put the game back level immediately through Isaac Price that saw his close range header saved by the keeper.

Watford could of gave us more of a nightmare at Vicarage Road where Griffiths stopped Tom Ince’s effort, but enough was enough at the end and the Hornets secured all Championship points and now put us down to 11th in the Championship standings with Ipswich to play next.

Griffiths had to keep out Tom Ince’s shot down the other end, while Jeremy Ngakia and James Abankwah threatened too.

Watford 2-1 West Brom

Goalscorers for Watford: Louza 38′, Vata 58′

Goalscorers for West Brom: Price 34′

A defeat on the road for a Wednesday evening, thought we be in for a great night when Isaac Price scored the opener but the Hornets would somehow give us a blow and now we face Ipswich away on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it could be worth coming back at 00:20 with all three points one day who knows. As the Match Review of the Watford game is tonight, I will be previewing our game to Ipswich tomorrow evening for a early get up to Portman Road.
