A midweek trip to Watford awaits for the Baggies on Wednesday evening, as they look to secure back to back wins after their 2-1 win over Preston North End in the weekend.

Watford who are 15th in the Championship come to this fixture after a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United who have been struggling this season on Saturday. The hosts have 1 win in 7 and we come to this ground where it has been difficult to get a result at Vicarage Road where our last win here was back in 2007.
The Baggies are looking to pick up from where they left of in hoping to secure another win and hopefully sit comfortably in those play-off places come one of the busiest periods of the Championship season.
Player To Watch – Watford

The player to watch for the Hornets on Wednesday evening is Luca Kjerrumgaard, The Danish forward currently on loan at OB has currently 2 goals in 10 Championship appearances and has been a consistent threat for Watford.
I think his pace and finishing ability could make him a danger for Watford and would cause problems as I think one of their attacking players would potentially score past us at Vicarage Road on Wednesday and his performance would be crucial as they would challenge our defense especially their track record over us at their home ground.
Player To Watch – West Brom

The experienced midfielder is known for his vision and passing range. Alex Mowatt’s ability to control the tempo and distribute effectively will be key in dictating play for West Brom. His influence in midfield could be pivotal in breaking down Watford’s defensive setup.
In West Brom’s recent 2-1 victory over Preston North End, Mowatt’s performance was instrumental in securing the win. His leadership and experience were evident as he helped orchestrate play from the midfield, contributing to the team’s overall success.
My Line Up V Watford

Line up for Watford, I bring in Alfie Girchrist in as right back to replace George Campbell, for the rest of the side I keep a unchanged side with Mowatt and Molumby to return in midfield, Iling Junior, Isaac Price and Mikey Johnston to play behind Josh Maja in attack.
My Prediction V Watford
Predictions over Watford, guess what last time out I actually predicted correctly a 2-1 win over Preston North End and we did just that. Now can I do it right again, Away from home is never easy for the Baggies as I think it be difficult to earn 3 points here.
In the first half, I think we would be on the front foot trying to attack the Hornets but their be a few shots off the target plus Isaac Price hitting the post all within the first 20 minutes of the game. I believe there be one goal coming towards half-time with us being behind with the Hornets getting the first goal from Moussa Sissoko from a Kjerrumgaard smart pass.
In the second half, it’s 1-0 to Watford and within the first 10 minutes of the half the Baggies would get one back through a corner from Mowatt that would allow Chris Mepham to fire in a header that would give us the equaliser early in the second half.
Then it be end to end throughout much of the half with Watford trying to get back in front and we would see a free kick from Alex Mowatt that would Egil Selvik to make a excellent save. In the final 5 minutes of the game we would see Heggebo try to get his second of the season that would also Selvik to deny the Norweigan and would end stalemate at Vicarage Road.
Prediction: Watford 1-1 West Brom
Goalscorer for Watford: Moussa Sissoko
Goalscorer for West Brom: Chris Mepham
A 1-1 draw at Watford and I be happy to take a point if it does happen on Wednesday evening as Watford are a difficult side to face coming into another week of having 2 away games in the space of 3 days.
Lets see what happens come Wednesday evening and hopefully get a bonus but this time with our away record and woes in recent seasons I’ve put this down as a draw.
